Types of Ballpark Tours

VIP Texas Rangers Artifact Pregame Tours

**All guests must have tickets to the same day’s Rangers game in order to participate in the experience. Game tickets are sold separately and are not included in the price of the experience.

Be part of history during a VIP Texas Rangers Artifacts Pregame Tour! These exciting new 2-hour pregame experiences will allow guests the opportunity to have a semi-private hands-on interaction with a carefully curated collection of authentic Rangers artifacts from the Rangers Vault, highlighting key moments & players in history, including the 2023 World Series’ run.

Guests will spend (30) minutes with the artifacts, and will be able to hold, touch, and take photos with them, all while learning each artifacts’ significance to the Texas Rangers. Guests will then take a 60-minute tour of the rest of the ballpark, focusing on Ranger’s history and visiting premium locations throughout the stadium, including the Karbach Sky Porch, John Blake Press Box, Chuck Morgan’s PA Booth, Balcones Speakeasy, and a field-level view behind home plate from the Lexus Club! (Specific tour stops subject to change based on stadium business needs). The experience will conclude with watching Rangers’ batting practice* before gates open to the public.

In order to provide a world-class guest experience, tours are limited to no more than (10) guests per time slot.

VIP guests will also receive reserved seating in the front row behind the Rangers’ dugout for batting practice viewing, and a Texas Rangers logo baseball.

Please Note: This experience must be booked no less than (48) hours in advance.

*Batting practice is held at the discretion of the Texas Rangers coaching staff, and may be canceled without notice. In the event that Batting Practice does not take place, tour tickets are non-refundable.

Big 12 Championship On-Field Pregame Experience

Experience Guests Should Meet the Tours Team on the Main Concourse, Inside the TXU Energy North Entry, Near Section 136.

Experience team warm-ups and the National Anthem from the field! Guests will be welcome onto the Warning Track on the 3rd Base Side of the field to watch the teams warm up, and will get to stay for the singing of the National Anthem!

All pregame experience guests must have an experience ticket AND a ticket to that day’s games in order to attend.

Any guests wishing to attend multiple pregame experiences on the same day will need a separate ticket for each experience.

Wednesday, May 21st:

Game 1 – Pregame Experience Starts at 8:00am

Big 12 Championship Batting Practice Experience

1.5 Hour Experience – Starts 1.5 hours prior to gates opening

Watch your team’s batting practice from on the field! Guests will enjoy the opportunity to watch BP from the warning track right behind home plate, as well as a brief tour of Globe Life Field as they make their way down to the field.

Schedule:

Friday, May 23rd at 2:00pm

Saturday, May 24th at 3:30pm

All pregame experience guests must have an experience ticket AND a separate game ticket for that day’s games. Game tickets sold separately.

Batting practice is held at the discretion of each team and the REV Entertainment Major Event Managers, and is not guaranteed. In the event your preferred team is not on the field during the experience, refunds will not be offered.

  • All guests aged 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. No minors will be allowed to participate in the experience without a guardian.

Legends Pregame Tour with John Blake

IMPORTANT: All guests attending the pregame tour must have a separate game ticket for the same day’s Rangers game. Guests arriving for the pregame tour without a game ticket will not be able to participate. Tour tickets are non-refundable.

This special 2-hour pregame tour experience is led by John Blake, the Historian for the Texas Rangers and former Executive Vice President of Public Affairs, and will take you on a journey through the Ranger’s storied history; special artwork in Globe Life Field; and media areas. With over 45 years of experience in Major League Baseball, John has a unique perspective on the legends of the game, and can give guests insight into Ranger’s history, TV & radio broadcasting, and public affairs surrounding the team.

This experience includes an exclusive private Q&A session with John Blake, and concludes with watching Ranger’s batting practice from the seats behind the home dugout before gates open to the public.

  • Rangers Business Park on Stadium Drive & 801 Stadium Drive: Pregame tour parking is available in these lots on Stadium Drive, and is $45.00 + tax, each game day. If you have a parking pass for a different Rangers lot that is not yet open, you may show it at one of these lots and park for no additional charge for your pregame tour. This exciting tour ends in the seats right behind the Ranger’s dugout, where guests can get a front row view of the Rangers on the field for warm-ups and batting practice, before gates open to the public!

1:35pm Day Game Pregame Tour:

IMPORTANT: All guests attending the pregame tour must have a separate game ticket for the same day’s Rangers game. Guests arriving for the pregame tour without a game ticket will not be able to participate. Tour tickets are non-refundable.

Guests attending Rangers’ 1:35pm home games can experience a special 1-hour pregame tour that will allow guests to get an inside glimpse at game day preparations throughout the Ballpark, as well as a chance to visit some of Globe Life Field’s premium lounges and spaces while also learning about the rich history of the Texas Rangers Baseball Club and unique architecture of Globe Life Field.

This exciting tour ends on the Lower Concourse, allowing guests to watch on-field warmups from the lower seating bowl seats. Note that this pregame tour experience does NOT include watching Batting Practice, as teams generally do not take on-field Batting Practice prior to 1:35pm games.

Pregame Tour Parking:
Parking for VIP Texas Rangers Artifacts Pregame Tours, Pregame Tours, and Legends Pregame Tours with John Blake is not complimentary, and is available in several lots:
  • Lot B, located near Texas Live!: Parking in Lot B is available on a limited basis. Parking rates are $55 + tax, each game day. No other passes are accepted in Lot B.
  • Rangers Business Park on Stadium Drive & 801 Stadium Drive: Pregame tour parking is available in these lots on Stadium Drive, and is $45.00 + tax, each game day. If you have a parking pass for a different Rangers lot that is not yet open, you may show it at one of these lots and park for no additional charge for your pregame tour. Please be prepared to also show your pregame tour tickets or confirmation email along with your parking pass.
PLEASE NOTE: Tour guests who are also attending an event in the area, such as a Cowboys game, concert, etc. will need to pay for their parking in order to stay in the lot for the duration of the day.

All tours begin inside the TXU Energy North Entrance, located on the north side of Globe Life Field.
Promotional Items: Only guests that have purchased tickets for the Pregame Tour will receive the promotional* item for that day’s game, if applicable. Pregame Tour guests will receive one promotional item per ticketed guest present upon entering Globe Life Field (each ticket holder must be present in order to pick up a promotional item). Ballpark Tour guests attending tours earlier on a game day do NOT receive promotional items.
 
*Note that “promotional item” refers only to gate giveaways listed here;  Theme Night and Community Night items are not included and require a specially marked game ticket in order to claim those items from the Theme/Community night kiosk. These 90-minute premium tours include a 60-minute behind-the-scenes tour of Globe Life Field and 30 minutes of time playing catch and taking photos in the outfield – where the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers play! 

 

Guests who wish to play catch may bring 1 ball and glove per person. No bats of any kind are permitted. Equipment is not provided.

Go behind-the-scenes with a tour of Globe Life Field and explore exciting locations around the stadium, all while learning all about what makes a Major League Baseball stadium work!

We offer a variety of educational tours suitable for preschool through college-aged students, and offer tours that vary from 60 to 90 minutes in length. For an additional fee, your group can even bring your sack lunches and enjoy them in one of our stadium venues!

Tour Options:

Ballpark Tours: These 60-minute tours include a full tour of the ballpark, covering the exciting topics listed above.

Pricing:

  • Students (PreK – 12th Grade) & Teachers: $12.00 + taxes & fees
  • Additional Adults: $20.00 + taxes & fees
  • Title 1 Pricing Available

Premium Tours: When the team is away, you can play! On select days, groups can enjoy a 60-minute behind-the-scenes tour of Globe Life Field, and 30-minutes playing in the outfield!

  • Guests who wish to play catch may bring one ball and glove per person
  • Bats of any kind are not allowed, and will be held at Security until the group departs.
  • Metal cleats are not allowed.
  • Equipment is not provided.

Pricing:

  • Students (PreK – 12th Grade) & Teachers: $18.00 + taxes & fees
  • Additional Adults: $28.00 + taxes & fees
  • Title 1 Pricing Available

Specialty Tours are Available!

We offer specialty tours to groups that may be exploring a special interest. All specialty tours are subject to availability of tour locations & guest speakers. Pricing varies; contact the Tours & Experiences team today to discuss options!

Important Tours Information:

  • Tour tickets are non-refundable.
  • Field Trip groups must provide at least (1) chaperone per every (10) students.
  • Parking is complimentary for tour guests.
    • All buses must park in Lot D or the valet lanes on Nolan Ryan Expressway.
    • Vans and personal vehicles may park in Lot B.
  • The Tours & Experiences department does not provide equipment for playing catch on the field. Premium tour groups may bring their own balls & gloves; bats of any kind are not permitted.
  • Tour locations, field surface, and tour times are subject to change based on team and ballpark schedule.
  • Group tours and specialty tours must be booked with the Tours & Experiences team at least (7) days in advance.
  • Specialty tours are available based on location & guest speaker availability.
  • Tours do not include player areas, such as the clubhouses and dugouts.
  • Field access is available on select days only.
  • Concession stands are not open during tours. Groups wishing to eat lunch at the stadium must bring their own food & beverages.
  • Groups planning to eat lunch at the stadium should bring their lunches collected into containers (coolers, bins, etc), clearly labeled by class / teacher name.

TOURS PARKING (Except Pregame Tours):
Parking for Ballpark, Premium, & non-VIP Texas Rangers Artifacts tours is available in Lot B, located off Randol Mill Rd. between Choctaw Stadium and Globe Life Field.
Parking is complimentary for tour guests during their tour time only. If you have to take a ticket at the lot entry kiosk, please ask our Tours security team for a validation slip at the Tours entrance. On days when there are events taking place in the surrounding Arlington Entertainment District, tour guests will be asked to show their tour tickets or confirmation email at the entrance to Lot B in order to receive complimentary parking. If Lot B is full, parking attendants may direct tour guests to the next available parking lot.
Pregame Tour Parking:
Parking for VIP Texas Rangers Artifacts Pregame Tours, Pregame Tours, and Legends Pregame Tours with John Blake is not complimentary, and is available in several lots:
  • Lot B, located near Texas Live!: Parking in Lot B is available on a limited basis. Parking rates are $55 + tax, each game day. No other passes are accepted in Lot B.
  • Rangers Business Park on Stadium Drive & 801 Stadium Drive: Pregame tour parking is available in these lots on Stadium Drive, and is $45.00 + tax, each game day. If you have a parking pass for a different Rangers lot that is not yet open, you may show it at one of these lots and park for no additional charge for your pregame tour. Please be prepared to also show your pregame tour tickets or confirmation email along with your parking pass.
PLEASE NOTE: Tour guests who are also attending an event in the area, such as a Cowboys game, concert, etc. will need to pay for their parking in order to stay in the lot for the duration of the day.

All tours begin inside the TXU Energy North Entrance, located on the north side of Globe Life Field.
