Globe Life Field, home of MLB’s Texas Rangers, has hosted more than 100 college baseball games since opening its doors in 2020. The venue annually hosts some of the highest-attended games on the college baseball calendar, and welcomed more than 100,000 fans over three weekends of action in 2024.
Each year, Globe Life Field hosts the Shriners Children’s College Showdown, College Baseball Series, and Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship. The venue played host to 41 college baseball games in 2024, the most ever in a single year at the venue.
Two teams – Tennessee in 2024 and Mississippi State in 2021 – have gone on to win the College World Series after playing at Globe Life Field that same year. More than 200 players that played in Globe Life Field tournaments have gone on to be selected in the MLB Draft that same year.
The Tennessee Volunteers, champions of the 2024 Shriners Children’s College Showdown at Globe Life Field, went on to win the 2024 College World Series for their first national title in program history.
