Lincoln Square sits less than a mile from the stadiums, and Arlington Highlands is a larger lifestyle center about five miles south. Both offer a mix of dining, retail and entertainment that fills the gaps between matches and games.
Here is what each one offers.
Lincoln Square is located on North Collins Street near Interstate 30, roughly a 15 to 20-minute walk from Dallas Stadium. It is often considered the front door to the Arlington Entertainment District.
The center has a mix of dining and shopping options. Studio Movie Grill combines a movie theater with in-seat dining. BoomerJack’s Grill and Bar, Shell Shack and Omi Korean Grill and Bar are among the restaurant options. Olive Garden and Jason’s Deli round out the casual dining choices.
On the retail side, Burlington, Ross Dress for Less, Michaels, Ulta Beauty and PetSmart anchor the shopping lineup. These are practical stops for visitors who need affordable clothing, personal care items or everyday supplies during a multi-day stay.
Lincoln Square is currently undergoing a major redevelopment into a project named “Anthem,” which will introduce new restaurants, retail and green space. Construction is expected to continue through 2027, so parts of the center may be under renovation during your visit.
Arlington Highlands is a larger, open-air lifestyle center located along Interstate 20 at Matlock Road, about a 12-minute drive from the Entertainment District. The complex has over 50 shops and 25 restaurants spread across a walkable layout.
Dining options include BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, The Keg Steakhouse and Bar, Chuy’s and P.F. Chang’s. The variety covers more cuisines and price points than what you will find within walking distance of the stadiums.
Shopping includes World Market, Kendra Scott, Pottery Barn Outlet and Nordstrom Rack. For visitors who want to bring home gifts or need to pick up something they forgot to pack, the selection is broader than what Lincoln Square or the Entertainment District offers.
Entertainment options at the Highlands include Dave and Buster’s, Arlington Improv (a stand-up comedy club) and Cidercade (an arcade bar with over 275 games). Any of these make a good evening activity on a non-event day.
During events at Globe Life Field or Dallas Stadium, parking prices in the Entertainment District climb. Some visitors park at Lincoln Square or nearby shopping centers early in the day, eat at one of the restaurants and then walk to the stadium. Walking from Lincoln Square to Dallas Stadium takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

Arlington Highlands requires a car or rideshare to reach from the stadiums, so it is better suited for a separate shopping trip rather than a game-day parking alternative.
