Globe Life Field Tour: Complete Visitor’s Guide 2026

Globe Life Field is worth visiting even when there is no game on the schedule. The home of the Texas Rangers offers behind-the-scenes tours year-round, giving you access to premium lounges, luxury suites, the press box, and, on select days, the playing field where the 2023 World Series champions play.

Whether you are in Arlington for a Rangers game, the 2026 global soccer event at nearby AT&T Stadium or just exploring the Dallas-Fort Worth area, a Globe Life Field tour is one of the best ways to experience the ballpark up close.

Here is everything you need to know before you book.

Types of Globe Life Field Tours

Globe Life Field offers several tour options depending on how much time you have and what kind of experience you want. Every tour starts inside the TXU Energy North Entrance on the north side of the stadium.

Globe Life Field Ballpark Tour (No Field Access)

This is the standard 60-minute behind-the-scenes tour. Your guide walks you through premium venues, club spaces, luxury suites, and architectural highlights throughout the stadium. You will learn about Rangers history, the design of the ballpark, and find plenty of photo spots along the way.

Keep in mind that the baseball playing surface may not be visible during your visit if the stadium is being prepared for another event. If seeing the diamond matters to you, call the Tours team at 817-533-1833 before your visit to check.

Pricing:
Adults: $205
Kids: $15

Globe Life Field Premium Tour (Field Access)

The Premium Tour includes everything in the standard Ballpark Tour plus 30 minutes on the outfield. You can play catch and take photos right where the Rangers play. The full experience runs about 90 minutes.

If you want to play catch, bring your own ball and glove (one per person). Bats are not permitted, and equipment is not provided.

Pricing:
Adults: $35
Kids: $25

Texas Rangers Pregame Tour

This tour is offered before Rangers home games that begin at 3:05 p.m., 6:05 p.m., and 7:05 p.m. CT. You’ll get an inside look at game day preparations, visit premium lounges, and learn about Rangers history, all before the stadium opens to the public.

The tour ends in the front row behind the Rangers’ dugout, where you can watch warmups and batting practice before gates open. It is one of the best ways to start a game day.

A separate game ticket for the same day’s Rangers game is required. Tour tickets alone will not get you into the stadium for the game.

Batting practice is held at the discretion of the Rangers coaching staff and is not guaranteed.

Pricing varies by game.

1:35 p.m. Day Game Pregame Tour

For afternoon home games, a shorter one-hour pregame tour gives you a similar behind-the-scenes experience. This tour ends on the lower concourse, where you can watch on-field warmups from the lower seating bowl. Note that teams generally do not take on-field batting practice before 1:35 p.m. games.

A separate game ticket for the same day’s Rangers game is required.

VIP Texas Rangers Artifact Pregame Tour

This is the most immersive tour Globe Life Field offers. The two-hour experience begins with 30 minutes of hands-on time with authentic Rangers artifacts from the team vault, including items from the 2023 World Series run, game-used gear from Nolan Ryan, Ivan Rodriguez, Adrian Beltre, and more.

After the artifact session, your guide takes you on a 60-minute tour of the ballpark’s premium spaces, including the Karbach Sky Porch, John Blake Press Box, Chuck Morgan’s PA Booth, the Balcones Speakeasy, and a field-level view from the Lexus Club. The experience wraps up with reserved front-row seats behind the Rangers’ dugout for batting practice.

Tours are limited to no more than 10 guests per time slot. VIP guests also receive a Texas Rangers logo baseball and a 2026 Globe Life Field lapel pin.

Important: This tour must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. A same-day Rangers game ticket is required.

Globe Life Field offers bilingual tours on select dates. Ballpark Tours, Premium Tours, Pregame Tours, and VIP Artifact Tours are all available in Spanish when scheduling allows. Dates are posted two to three weeks in advance based on guide availability.

Tour lengths range from 60 to 90 minutes, and groups can add a sack lunch in a stadium venue for an additional fee. Specialty tours are also available covering topics like engineering, culinary arts, careers in sports, event management, and data management.

Educational Tour Pricing:
1. Students and Teachers: $12 (Ballpark Tour) or $18 (Premium Tour)
2. Additional Adults: $20 (Ballpark Tour) or $28 (Premium Tour)
3. Title 1 pricing is available

Parking for Tours

Parking logistics depend on which tour you are taking.

Non-Game Day Tours

Parking for Ballpark Tours, Premium Tours, and non-VIP Artifact Tours is available in Lot B, located off Randol Mill Road between Choctaw Stadium and Globe Life Field. Parking is complimentary during your tour time. If you take a ticket at the entry kiosk, ask the Tours security team for a validation slip when you arrive at the TXU Energy North Entrance.

On days when events are taking place in the Arlington Entertainment District, you may be asked to show your tour tickets or confirmation email at the Lot B entrance.

Pregame Tour Parking

Parking for VIP Artifact Pregame Tours and standard Pregame Tours is not complimentary. You have two main options:

  • Lot B (near Texas Live!): Limited availability. $55 plus tax on game days.
  • Rangers Business Park on Stadium Drive and 801 Stadium Drive: $45 plus tax on game days. If you already have a parking pass for another Rangers lot that has not yet opened, show it at one of these lots and park at no extra charge for your pregame tour. Have your tour tickets or confirmation email ready.

If you are also attending another event in the area (a concert, a match during the global soccer event, etc.), you will need to pay for parking to stay in the lot for the full day.

For parking questions, contact the Parking Department at parking@texasrangers.com or call 817-533-1972 and ask to be transferred to Parking.

Tips for First-Time Tour Visitors

A little preparation makes the experience smoother, especially if you are visiting Arlington for the first time.

Plan Around the Calendar

Tour availability changes based on the Rangers’ schedule and other stadium events. Check the Globe Life Field tours page for available dates before you visit. If you want field access, confirm availability by calling 817-533-1833, as the field may be set up for a non-baseball event.

Know What to Expect Inside

Concession stands are not open during tours, so eat before or after. Only card payments are accepted inside the stadium, with no cash and no tap-to-pay at the Tours box office. All guests aged 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Combine Your Tour with a Game or a Meal

Since you need a game ticket to attend a Pregame Tour, plan for a full day of Rangers festivities! Globe Life Field offers standout food options on game days, including Hurtado Barbecue at Section 141, along with fan favorites like Whataburger and Blue Bell ice cream.

Texas Live!, the entertainment complex right next to the stadium, is also a great option for a pre-tour or post-tour meal. Restaurants like Rangers Republic, Troy’s, and Soy Cowboy are all within walking distance.

For International Visitors

If you are visiting from outside the United States, Globe Life Field tours are a great introduction to American baseball culture. Tours en Español are available on select dates for Spanish-speaking visitors. Arlington does not have a public mass transit system, so plan your transportation in advance. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are reliable ways to get to the ballpark from DFW Airport, Dallas, or Fort Worth.

The stadium is located at 734 Stadium Drive, Arlington, TX 76011, in the Arlington Entertainment District, directly across from AT&T Stadium.

Book Your Tour

Tours can be booked online through the Globe Life Field tours and events page. For group bookings, specialty tours, or questions, call the Tours and Experiences team at 817-533-1833.

Tour tickets are non-refundable. If you purchase tickets for the wrong date or time, call the Tours Department as soon as possible so they can help make adjustments based on availability.
