Argentina is scheduled to play two group-stage matches at AT&T Stadium in Arlington during the 2026 international soccer tournament. If you are traveling to North Texas to support the reigning champions, here is what you need to know about the area, the stadiums and what to do between matches.
Argentina plays in Group J with the following fixtures at AT&T Stadium:
Argentina vs. Austria on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. CT.
Jordan vs. Argentina on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. CT.
Argentina’s base camp for the tournament is the Compass Minerals National Performance Center in Kansas City, so the squad will travel into Arlington before each match.
AT&T Stadium is located in the Arlington Entertainment District at 1 AT&T Way, Arlington, TX 76011. From DFW Airport, a rideshare takes about 20 to 25 minutes.
On match days, the regional transit plan uses the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) commuter rail to CentrePort Station, where ticket holders transfer to charter buses running directly to the stadium area. Start your journey at least four hours before kickoff.
Rideshare pickup and drop-off is routed to the Esports Stadium Arlington parking lot, about 0.7 miles from AT&T Stadium.
Hotels in the Arlington Entertainment District fill quickly during the tournament. Live! by Loews is directly adjacent to Texas Live! and less than a mile from AT&T Stadium. Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center sits between both stadiums. The Drury Plaza Hotel, about a mile from the stadiums, consistently earns high guest ratings and includes a free hot breakfast.
If Arlington hotels are full, Grand Prairie (15 to 20 minutes by car), Fort Worth (30 minutes) and Irving (near DFW Airport) offer alternatives with better availability.
Five days separate Argentina’s two Arlington fixtures. That is plenty of time to explore the area.
Globe Life Field sits within walking distance of AT&T Stadium. The Texas Rangers play home games throughout June, and the ballpark’s retractable roof and air conditioning make it comfortable even in the peak Texas heat. Get tickets to see the Rangers in 2026.
The 200,000-square-foot dining and entertainment complex between the two stadiums has restaurants, bars and a 100-foot LED screen. Lockhart Smokehouse, Troy’s, Sports and Social Arlington and PBR Texas are all inside. On match days without tickets, the Live! Arena broadcasts coverage on the big screen.
The Fort Worth Stockyards are 30 minutes west of Arlington. The longhorn cattle drive runs twice daily at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. CT. Joe T. Garcia’s is a Fort Worth institution for Tex-Mex (cash only). Billy Bob’s Texas has live country music and indoor bull riding.
Dallas is 25 minutes east. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, the Dallas Museum of Art (free admission) and Klyde Warren Park are the top stops. The Deep Ellum neighborhood has live music and barbecue.
